EV Charging & Energy Software
Nexos builds the software layer for electric vehicle charging: OCPP charge point management, session billing, driver applications, and load management, with particular depth in integrating EV charging into existing fuel retail infrastructure, where we already operate the forecourt systems.
Charge Point Management
- OCPP Platform. Central management of charge points over OCPP: remote start/stop, firmware updates, diagnostics, availability monitoring, and tariff control.
- Load & Energy Management. Dynamic load balancing across chargers and sites, respecting grid connection limits and time of use energy pricing.
- Site Integration. Charging integrated with the rest of the site, forecourt controllers, POS, loyalty, and fiscal systems, so an EV session is handled like any other sale.
Drivers & Billing
- Driver Applications. Web and mobile flows for finding chargers, starting sessions, and paying, with fleet accounts and RFID support.
- Billing & Settlement. Session pricing, invoicing, VAT handling, and fiscal receipt integration under Bulgarian requirements.
- Roaming Readiness. Architecture prepared for OCPI based roaming with other networks as the market consolidates.
Operations & Analytics
- Network Monitoring. Real time charger status, fault alerting, and utilisation dashboards for network operators.
- Investment Analytics. Utilisation, revenue per site, and demand analysis to guide where the next charger should go.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Do you support OCPP?
- Yes. Charge point management is built on OCPP, so the platform is not tied to one hardware vendor and you can mix charger makes across a network.
- Can EV charging share the same till as fuel and the shop?
- Yes, and on a forecourt it should. Charging sessions bill through the same POS and fiscal path as fuel and shop goods, so the site has one set of numbers at end of shift.
- How do you handle load balancing across chargers?
- The platform allocates available site capacity across active sessions dynamically, so adding charge points does not require upgrading the grid connection first.
